I then wrote a press release that targeted that audience through very specific media outlets.



Structure your press release so that it closely resembles ones already printed in the publication. Include all of the elements found in the printed press release. This includes photos, typestyle, total length of Press release, length of headline, everything.



If discovered and picked up by the right media outlet, you can receive free publicity that can bring your site a tidal wave of traffic. Riding on this wave, there could be a lot of potential surfers that are potential customers willing to spend. I hope you have that sales letter polished and ready to show.



Make the topic timely. Unless yours is a Fortune 1000 company, simply announcing that your product exists will draw only a yawn from the media. Find a hook. Most of the smaller sites will pick it up if it is properly written and easy to understand. The big guys such as CNN will look for unique information. Sites like Google and Yahoo is where an online business can do well because they are more apt to pick up a well-written release that is Internet or even better, it is search engine related.



A beforehand thesis or two normal landing decisions ought truly sum up the editor release and the further content must busy it. In fast paced world neither public press or other soothsayers aspiring read the complete press release if the start of the article doesn't generate interest.
